Weekly Reminder
Knowledge for Every Level
Math
The focus on math this week is place value. With the place value foundations, students will be expected to understand that place values to the right of any given number is 10 times smaller than the value to its left. With this understanding students will also learn about decimal numbers and exponents.
Language Arts
Writing: To support students in understanding my writing program, Step-Up to Writing, we will begin with a short wiring assignment where students write about their 5th grade goals.
